HELP required, tasks to be done,

New blood on the PTA Committee (not necessarily younger)
Many in the committee have sons in the upper end of the school so their shelf life is coming to an end, and we are also a bit small as a committee, so we want and need new people to join in the fun- the more the merrier.
The aim is to have enough people participating in the PTA so that tasks and events can be spread between different people, and there is a wider source of ideas and energy - a little from everyone will make a big difference to our sons’ and sixth form daughters’ school.
With the Verulam PTA, most helpers take part in just one event, or take a single role on the committee. If you are interested, please contact Lesley or come to one of our committee meetings in the white house next to the school entrance. The committee meetings schedule is here.

Summer Ball Committee
The Summer Ball is the major event of the PTA calendar. The Ball has been running for over 25 years. It is a full DJ / evening gown event with sit-down meal and live music for 400 - 500 guests.
For an event of this size, we need people throughout the year to help with planning, and people to help with setting up on the weekend of the event itself.
We set up on Friday 4th and Saturday 5th July, and clear up on Sunday 6th July. You can help for just 2 hours (or more if you want).
If you can help, either on the Summer Ball committe, or on the weekend of the event, please email us.
