Another 200 club quarterly draw took place on 14th September 2009. The winners are:
£60 Mr. H. Patel
£40 Mr. P. Woods
£30 Mrs. T.A. Ranscombe
£30 Mrs. H. Ford
£20 Ms. L. Brown
The next draw will take place at the Verulam Christmas Fair on 28th November.
Does anybody know the current address of Mrs. R. Egerton, a winner in June, who’s cheque was returned by the Post Office?
200 Club
One of ways in which the P.T.A. raises funds is the “200 Club”. For parents and guardians, this is a great way to support your son’s school, because there is the added benefit of a chance to win monetary prizes.
For a subscription of just £10 or £20 per year, you can join the Verulam PTA “200 club”. Half the money raised goes into the PTA funds and half goes into a prize fund. There are four prize draws per year – each draw resulting in five winners of amounts ranging between £10 and £70. In addition, at Christmas we have an annual draw of one prize of £200.
If you contribute £20 per year, you double your chances of winning prizes.

In the year Oct 2008 - Sept 2009, the 200 club raised £970 for the school and gave away £970 in prizes.
